PREDICTOGRAM

Predictograms are fantastic thinking tools for comprehension. Simply write some key vocabulary from a text into the top box and ask students to sort the words into "Character Words" or "Setting Words". Then encourage them to use their imaginations as they predict what the text might be about as they decide upon a problem, action and solution!
