During this unit, students assist the character Science Officer Atto from the Planet Zeta Canis 1, to understand living and non-living things on Earth. By examining specimens and their observable features, students learn the definitions of living and non-living things. Students explore biological areas within their school grounds to examine factors that affect living things; describe relationships between living things and study biodiversity.
